Commitment

Why AWDPI's Work Matters

Asian women are among the largest and fastest-growing minority populations overseas, contributing significantly to political, economic, cultural, and social life around the world. Yet in many western societies, entrenched stereotypes, compounded by the dual identity of being both Asian and female, make integration into mainstream society deeply challenging, leaving many exposed to persistent discrimination and harm.

Economic pressure, language barriers, cultural differences, and the absence of dedicated support structures impose heavy costs on those seeking help. At the same time, limited career opportunities restrict access to the essential resources needed for survival and growth. The challenge is not only to protect women when violence occurs, but to build an equal and inclusive environment where Asian women overseas can fully realise their potential and contribute to social progress.

Partnership

Nihao Serica and AWDPI

Nihao Serica is proud to collaborate with AWDPI as part of its commitment to responsible inbound travel, cross-cultural understanding, and long-term social impact. As a business connecting international travellers with China through meaningful, carefully designed experiences, we believe travel should do more than create memorable journeys. It should also help build a more thoughtful and inclusive future.

Through this relationship, Nihao Serica supports AWDPI's awareness-raising work, and a portion of the income generated through our business is directed toward social good, reflecting our belief that commercial success should help build safer communities, stronger support systems, and greater equality.
